Bookworm

I LOVE to read, therefore my first project in my bedroom will be re-doing a bookshelf I got from a neighbor for a couple bucks.  (Trust me the shape it is in I'm not sure I even got a deal paying the couple of bucks!)

Plan:
Stain it and put fabric behind the shelves to make it more appealing to the eye.

Goal: Complete over the weekend!

Please share any ideas you have to make a bookcase pop or your experience with renovating yuck furniture.  I'm a newbie and would love to hear your advice and stories!
